We’re delighted you’re thinking about joining the Vanother Collective. Our aim is simple – to bring together friendly caravan, motorhome and campervan YouTube creators to support one another, grow our channels and have fun creating monthly collaboration videos.
To keep everything running smoothly, we’ve put together a few simple guidelines.
Getting Started
By joining our private Facebook group, you’re agreeing to these guidelines.
We’ll ask you for:
- Your YouTube channel name
- Your channel URL
- An email address (for sharing logos and other media)
- A link to your channel logo
Once you’ve joined, we’ll send you everything you need to get started, including instructions on how to add your video to our monthly playlist.
Our Monthly Collaboration
Every month we release a collaboration playlist on the third Wednesday at 6:00pm.
To keep the playlist working properly, we ask everyone to upload their video ready for the scheduled release. We’ll provide full instructions, so don’t worry if you’ve never done it before.
What to Include in Your Video
To help promote everyone involved, we ask members to:
- Include the Vanother Collective logo (we’ll provide this).
- Add links to all participating channels in your video description.
- Mention the collaboration near the beginning of your video. For example:
“This is a Vanother Collective collaboration. We’re a group of like-minded caravanners, motorhomers and campervanners who come together each month to create a video around the same topic. You’ll find links to everyone’s channels in the description below, so please check them out.”
Choosing Monthly Topics
Our collaboration themes are planned a year in advance to make things easier for everyone.
Members are always welcome to suggest ideas, and we’ll usually discuss these around September or October for the following year. The admin team will make the final selection to ensure we have a varied and balanced schedule.
Supporting Each Other
The Vanother Collective is all about supporting fellow creators.
We encourage everyone to:
- Subscribe to each other’s channels.
- Watch, like and leave a genuine comment on each collaboration video whenever possible.
- Share encouragement and support throughout the month.
This helps everyone grow and builds a stronger community.
Our Facebook Groups
We have two Facebook groups:
- Private Members Group – for planning collaborations, asking questions and chatting with other members.
- Vanother Collective Fans Group – where we share our videos, travels and connect with our audience.
We’d love you to be active in both groups. If you’re away on your travels, sharing a photo or update in the Fans Group is a great way to keep everyone engaged, and interacting with other members’ posts helps the community continue to grow.
Letting Us Know Each Month
Each month we’ll ask whether you’d like to take part in the following month’s collaboration.
We completely understand that holidays, work, family commitments and life in general sometimes get in the way, so if you can’t join one month, that’s absolutely fine. We simply ask that you let us know as early as you can so we can plan accordingly.
If You Ever Decide to Leave
We hope you’ll enjoy being part of the Vanother Collective for a long time, but if you ever decide it’s no longer for you, we’d appreciate as much notice as possible so we can update our planning and playlists.
Finally…
We know this might seem like a lot at first, but most of it quickly becomes second nature. The guidelines simply help keep everything organised and ensure everyone benefits from being part of the collaboration.
